Checkin' In

I am glad some of you have been checking in with me and letting me know how you are doing both by this blog and phones calls. Stay encouraged and don't give up, don't let one bad habit day deter you from your overall goal. Keep it up and pass the blog address on to friends and family we all need to be healthy first and foremost and everything else will fall into place!

  1. You are absolutely right! I've only lost about 5 lbs but this time I'm trying to keep it off. I'm starting the day with cardio, then breakfast usually a slice of raisin bread w/fruit or low fat granola cereal, then mid-day snack (yogurt or a piece of fruit), lunch (budget friendly side salad & grilled snack wrap at McDonald's), mid afternoon snack, then more cardio after work, then a sensible dinner. My bad snacks have even gotten better lately. I bought some 100 calorie Hershey's dark chocolate bars but have limited my intake to 1.
    I'm still trying to get it all under control. I know it'll be trail & error but I'm not giving up. Summer's just around the corner.
